Shamrock Springs Elementary PTO

The PTO provides many programs and events throughout the school year. All parents, guardians and professional staff of Shamrock Springs are automatically members of the SSES PTO and we invite you to share your time, talents, ideas and resources at any time. President - Lorraine Camacho

Hello, my name is Lorraine Camacho and it is a privilege to be the PTO President for this next two-year term. The fact that you are reading our bio brings a smile to my face as I hope this will pique your interest in joining the PTO! I promise, we’d love to have you…

My husband, Brian Mihelic who is an Indiana native, and I recently moved to Indiana after living for the past 15 years in New York City, to allow our sons the experience of living the midwestern lifestyle and be closer to extended family. Cole, our second grader is loving his experience thus far at SSES and is excited for his brother Finn, to attend the kindergarten program in a few years. As the PTO president, I plan to leverage my background in working with fortune 100 companies on a global basis across account executive roles in sales, marketing, and strategy at SAP and Citibank. I look forward to reaching out to partners in the community to plan and execute activities for the SSES staff and families as well as raise awareness and support for Shamrock Springs elementary school.
On my free time, you’ll find me hanging out with family and friends, enjoying travels, exploring nature, or whipping something up in the kitchen or garden.

Co-VP - Lauren Blake

Lauren Blake has lived in Hamilton County for most of her life. She and her husband Adam put down roots in Westfield in 2008 and love calling it home for their family. Their triplets, Andrew, Beau and Grace, will be in second grade at SSES this year. Lauren has a passion for real estate and serving her community. Lauren works tirelessly to be a good wife, mom, friend, REALTOR and community leader. With a special gift for hospitality, she takes every chance she gets to host friends, neighbors and family at events and gatherings. She also loves spending time at the family lake home or on the road traveling somewhere fun - always with a good book in hand. She looks forward to serving as one of the PTO Vice Presidents and helping support the awesome SSES community.

Co-VP - Laura Engledow

My name is Laura Engledow and I am one of the Co-Vice Presidents this year. I have a 4th grader named Claire and a Kindergartner named Sydney. My husband Craig and I are both from Carmel and moved to Westfield in 2011. I am the Marketing Events Manager at Indigo BioAutomation. I am looking forward to being able to be involved with the PTO this year and can’t wait for all we have in store for the amazing Shamrock Springs families!

Co-Treasurer - Danielle Chambliss

I’m Danielle Chambliss and I’m excited to be joining the Shamrock Springs PTO Board this year as co-treasurer. I’m a native of Macon, Georgia and moved to Westfield 2 years ago. I have an upcoming 4th grader Lathan and 2nd grader Austin. I’m so excited to aid in the continued success of SSES.

Co-Treasurer - Melissa Pence

Melissa Pence moved to Westfield in 2021 from Chicago, Illinois. She is the mom to Scarlett (2nd grade) and Hudson (Kindergarten) at Shamrock Springs Elementary. She also has a 1 year old son. Melissa is a Clinical Psychologist that specializes in postpartum and infertility. The Pence family has two dogs, Lilly (a Bernese Mountain Dog) and Lainey (a Golden Retriever), who they love taking on walks. In her spare time, she loves painting, exercising, cooking, and reading.

Secretary - Mary Hudgens

Mary Hudgens moved to Westfield in 2021, from the Atlanta area. Originally from the Midwest, growing up in Ohio and spending many years living in Chicago, led her and her husband to feel the calling back to the Midwest. She is a mom to Addison, a rising second grader and Willow, an adorable labradoodle. Mary's professional career has been focused within the Human Resources industry with over 15 years of experience, which has included working within a variety of companies.

Some of her personal interests include traveling and exploring the US, any sort of cardio activity, reading, hanging with her family, and volunteering with a few local nonprofit organizations and her church.

Director of Hospitality, Staff and Student Relations - Katrina Scott

Katrina Scott is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but has lived most of her adult life overseas, with most of
that time spent in Nagoya, Japan. With her husband Matthew, she moved from the Caribbean island-
nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Westfield in 2013. Their son Hunter is in the 4th grade, and
their daughter Piper is a 2nd grader here at Shamrock Springs.

Katrina’s professional background is centered around cross-cultural education and marketing, though
presently she is a full-time mom to the two busy kids mentioned above! She also volunteers part-time
with the non-profit organization AFS, which brings international students to the USA for study abroad
experiences. Currently she is a liaison for international students attending Westfield High School.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, yoga, gym workouts, reading, and playing with her whippet,
Dempsey.

Director at Large - Justin Schneider

After growing up in the small town of Hilbert, WI, I moved to Indiana to play football for Ball State. My wife, Jacy, and I have 3 kids: a girl (Quinn) in first grade, a girl (Meris) in kindergarten, and a boy (Callan) who will attend SSES starting in 2025. I was an elementary physical education teacher and high school football coach in Carmel for 6 years before transitioning into sales for a local corrugated box and packaging company. Besides helping with the PTO, I also lead the All Pro Dad chapter at Shamrock.
