The PTO provides many programs and events throughout the school year. All parents, guardians and professional staff of Shamrock Springs are automatically members of the SSES PTO, and we invite you to share your time, talents, ideas and resources at any time. It’s through your dedication that the PTO exists to enhance our children’s lives and build a community we are all proud of. We hope you will be as proud of Shamrock Springs as we are!
Shamrock Springs 2025-2026 PTO Board
CO-President - Laura Engledow
Hi! I'm Laura Engledow, and I’m excited to serve as one of the PTO Co-Presidents this year. I have two daughters: Sydney is in 2nd grade at Shamrock Springs, and Claire is in 6th grade at the Intermediate School. My husband Craig and I are both originally from Carmel and moved to Westfield in 2011. I also work as a Community Event Coordinator for the City of Westfield. I'm really looking forward to a great year with the PTO and everything we have planned for our amazing Shamrock Springs families.
Co-President - Lauren Blake
Lauren Blake has lived in Hamilton County for most of her life. She and her husband Adam put down roots in Westfield in 2008 and love calling it home for their family. Their triplets, Andrew, Beau and Grace, will be in 4th grade at SSES this year. Lauren has a passion for real estate and serving her community. Lauren works tirelessly to be a good wife, mom, friend, REALTOR and community leader. With a special gift for hospitality, she takes every chance she gets to host friends, neighbors and family at events and gatherings. She also loves spending time at the family lake home or on the road traveling somewhere fun - always with a good book in hand. She looks forward to serving as one of the PTO Presidents and helping support the awesome SSES community.
Vice President - Mary Hudgens
Mary Hudgens moved to Westfield in 2021, from the Atlanta area. Originally from the Midwest, growing up in Ohio and spending many years living in Chicago, led her and her husband to feel the calling back to the Midwest. She is a mom to Addison, a rising 4th grader and Willow, an adorable labradoodle. Mary's professional career has been focused within the Human Resources industry with over 15 years of experience, which has included working within a variety of companies.
Some of her personal interests include traveling and exploring the US, any sort of cardio activity, reading, hanging with her family, and volunteering with a few local nonprofit organizations and her church.
Treasurer - Jen Hirsch
Jen has been a resident of Westfield since 2021. She and her husband Adam wanted to bring their family back to their Midwest roots, after spending several years in Pennsylvania and Illinois. They have 3 daughters: Abby (WHS-9th grade), Hannah (WMS-7th grade), and Elizabeth (SSES-4th grade).
Professionally, Jen spent 10+ years as a chemical engineer for a variety of manufacturing companies and is now a senior manager with Accenture’s SAP data strategy & consulting practice since 2021. She is passionate about process improvement, solving problems, and loves a good spreadsheet ;)
In her “free time”, you are most likely to find her at the softball fields or playing board games with her family. She is excited to join the PTO board this year as Treasurer and helping support Shamrock Springs students, staff, and families!
Secretary - Megan Theophilus
Director of Hospitality, Staff and Student Relations - Katrina Scott
Katrina Scott has been a resident of Westfield, Indiana since 2013, and is originally from
Cincinnati Ohio. Her daughter, Piper, is in 4th grade here at Shamrock Springs, and her
son, Hunter, is a 6th grader at Westfield Intermediate School.
Katrina’s professional background is centered around cross-cultural education and
international marketing, having lived most of her professional career overseas. In her
free time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, gym workouts, reading, scuba diving (yes, in the
Midwest!), and playing with her whippet, Dempsey.
